How to Register to Vote:

A voter registration application must be submitted to the Voter Registrar's office, located at 113 W. Beauregard, San Angelo, Texas 76903 on the first floor of the Edd B. and Frances Frink Keyes Building. The application may be delivered in person, mailed, or delivered by a deputy voter registrar. You cannot register via the internet but you can change a name and/or address within the same county in which you are registered by going to https://txapps.texas.gov/tolapp/sos/SOSACManager.

Your voter registration becomes effective 30 days after it is received by our office. There is no registration by political party in Texas. Citizens register in their county of current residence.

You will have an opportunity to register to vote when you get your driver's license renewed. However, you will not be registered with this office until we receive and process your card.

Eligibility for registration:
  • be 18 years of age or older
  • be a United States Citizen
  • cannot have been determined totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote
  • cannot have been finally convicted of a felony, or, if so, must have fully discharged all conditions of the sentence or pardoned
  • be a resident of the county in which application for registration is made.

 Como Registrarse Para Votar:

Una Solicitud de Registro Electoral debe ser sometida a la oficina del Registrador de Electores, ubicada en 113 Beauregard al oeste, San Angelo, Texas 76903. La solicitud puede ser entregada en persona, por correo, o por un asistente Registrador a de Electores. Usted no puede inscribirse por el internet pero puede hacer cambios a su nombre o su domicilio, yendo a https://txapps.texas.gov.tolapp/sos/SOSACManager.

Registro Electoral será vigente 30 días después que sea recibida en nuestra oficina. En Texas, no hay matricula por partido político. Ciudadanos se registran en el condado de residencia.

Usted tendrá la oportunidad de registrarse para votar cuando usted renueve su licencia de conductores.  Sin embargo, usted no estará registrado hasta que su solicitud sea procesado.

  Requisitos para Registrarse:

  • tener por lo menos 18 años de edad el día de la elección;
  • ser ciudadano de los Estados Unidos;
  • no puede ser declarado totalmente o parcialmente discapacitado mentalmente sin el derecho de votar;
  • no puede haber sido objeto de una condena definitiva por un delito grave, o bien, si es así, debe haber cumplido plenamente con todas las condiciones de la sentencia o perdonado;
  • ser un residente del condado en el que se solicita el registro de registro.
